Day 155 – Mt. Washington
Sunday was a big day, as we took on probably the toughest hike we’ve ever done, climbing Mount Washington in New Hampshire. We had to pack up the van drive about ten miles to the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trailhead. We were greeted in the parking lot with a positive sign, another Westy (complete with “WESTY” license plates just like our old ones)!

Day 148 – Southern Adirondack Pines to Smugglers Notch State Park
Sunday was a travel day, with a fairly long drive, but we had time for Tracey to make a special treat: a big breakfast before heading out. We also had time for a very nice chat with the owners of the campground, definitely the nicest owners we’ve met yet.
Eventually, we hit the road and headed east for Vermont, our 25th state on this trip. It was a very pretty drive and definitely got us excited about the next few days. Our one chore for the day was a stop at the grocery store before continuing to the campground in Smugglers Notch State Park near Stowe.

Day 141 – Erie
Sunday was a cloudy, rainy day so we had a relaxing day in the van, watching movies.

Day 134 – Waterloo to Bowling Green
While we originally planned on skipping Indiana, we woke up Sunday morning and decided we’d drive a little out of our way to at least spend a couple of hours and make it our 21st state. We ate lunch in Angola, then headed south to Butler before heading east into our 22nd state, Ohio. We spent the night in Bowling Green to rest up for a busy week.
